Michael Forino, M.D.
Board Certification: Diagnostic Radiology
Dr. Michael Forino received his medical degree from State University of New York Downstate Medical College in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Bridgeport Hospital, an affiliate of Yale University School of Medicine. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Forino decided to pursue additional training at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C. Later, Dr. Forino was accepted into the Body Imaging fellowship at the University of California, Irvine. During his fellowship program, he served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at UCI School of Medicine. Dr. Forino is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Forino joined Moran, Rowen & Dorsey, Inc. (MRD) in 2004 as a board certified radiologist trained in mammography. Presently, he serves as the Medical Director for Women's Imaging Center. Dr. Forino has held many leadership roles throughout his career. Prior to joining MRD, he was the Medical Director of the Imaging and Breast Center at Mission Regional Hospital, and the Chief of Radiology at Garden Grove Hospital.
Dr. Forino is truly a family-man, and devotes his time away from patient care to his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys working on classic automobiles and is as an advocate for personal health and fitness as he enjoys jogging regularly.
