Dan Vu, M.D.
Board Certification: Diagnostic Radiology
Dan Vu, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. He then completed an Internal Medicine internship, followed by a Radiology residency at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Vu went on to complete a Thoracic Imaging and Intervention Fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles with emphases on Thoracic Imaging and Intervention. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
During his medical training, Dr. Vu received a number of honors and awards, including UCI's Outstanding Resident Award, the Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award, Chief Resident Award, and the Robert Avnet Award for academic excellence in the medical profession.
In 2001, Dr. Vu joined the radiology practice of Moran, Rowen & Dorsey, Inc. (MRD) where he is a staff radiologist and also serves on the Board of Directors. He has contributed to various publications and medical presentations on topics surrounding interventional radiology. He also maintains professional affiliations with a number of radiologic societies, including the Western Neuroradiological Society, Orange County Radiological Society, and presently serves as the President of the Radiological Society of North America.
