Paul Kim, M.D.
Board Certification: Diagnostic Radiology
Dr. Kim started his premedical career studying biochemistry at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI. From there he was accepted into Loma Linda University's School of Medicine. Upon graduation, he decided to specialize in radiology, and remained at Loma Linda to complete his residency training. In 1998, he went onto the University of Southern California to complete his fellowship training in Cross Sectional Imaging. Dr. Kim has always considered himself to be a scientist in addition to being a practitioner. Throughout the course of his medical training he participated in numerous research studies and received several awards for his work. After finishing his extensive training, Dr. Kim gained plenty experience as he held several positions at a number of hospital based imaging groups prior to joining MRD in March 2008.
Dr. Kim enjoys the company of friends and family during his free time. He enjoys hosting parties, surfing, and golfing. He and his wife have three lovely children that keep them on their toes. Dr. Kim is truly a kid at heart and loves playing video games and hiking with his sons.
It was no coincidence that Dr. Kim found MRD. His preexisting relationship with Dr. Mark Masotto led him to the group. While working in the field, he had heard plenty of good things about MRD. He was thrilled when the opportunity approached to join the group. Dr. Kim described MRD as a "well-oiled machine," and stated that he had no doubt about joining a group as reputable as MRD.
