Joseph B. Tison, M.D.
Board Certification: Diagnostic Radiology
Dr. Joseph Tison was born and raised in the Philippines. He received his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, where he graduated Cum Laude. He then completed a rotating internship at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital, followed by an internship and Diagnostic Radiology residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. After his residency training, Dr. Tison completed a fellowship in CT and Ultrasound at Rush-Presbyterian
St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, and a subsequent fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
In 1990, Dr. Tison joined Moran, Rowen & Dorsey, Inc. (MRD), where he currently serves as President. He practices general Diagnostic Radiology with an emphasis in Body Imaging, Colorectal Imaging including Virtual Colonoscopy
(CT Colonography) for polyp detection, and advanced application of computer technology in Diagnostic Radiology. In his free time, Dr. Tison enjoys classical music and attending the ballet and opera with his wife.
