Heart Score
If you have high cholesterol or a family history of heart disease, this imaging technique may be for you. It helps our radiologists “score” the calcium deposits in your coronary arteries and evaluate your risk of heart disease compared to others of your sex and age. This technique enables you to make appropriate lifestyle changes to reduce your risk of cardiac events.
Eligibility for a Heart Score:
- Age 40 years or greater.
- No history of heart/cardiac problems or chest pain (consult your physician).
Pricing Overview
Early detection screening services are not typically covered by health insurance carriers. Therefore, you will be asked to pay the full amount of the screening exam at the time the service is rendered. Follow-up studies, however, are usually covered. Discounts are available when you purchase several procedures at once. Please call for specific pricing.

For all screening exams, patients will receive the following customized services:
- Your scan will be performed by our highly qualified technologists.
- After you are finished with your screening study, you will receive a consultation with one of our expert MRD Radiologist.
- You will receive a copy of your study on CD-Rom to take home with you.
- A written report will then be forwarded to you & your doctor.
