Virtual Colonoscopy
Virtual Colonoscopy: Computed Tomography (CT) Colonography, also known as virtual colonoscopy, detects clinically important colorectal polyps and cancers. This screening procedure is quicker and more comfortable than a standard colonoscopy — and safer because no sedation is required.
Eligibility for a Virtual Colonoscopy:
- Age 40 years or greater.
- No history of colon surgery, colon polyps, or colon cancer.
- Consult your physician.
Pricing Overview
Early detection screening services are not typically covered by health insurance carriers. Therefore, you will be asked to pay the full amount of the screening exam at the time the service is rendered. Follow-up studies, however, are usually covered. Discounts are available when you purchase several procedures at once. Please call for specific pricing.

For all screening exams, patients will receive the following customized services:
- Your scan will be performed by our highly qualified technologists.
- After you are finished with your screening study, you will receive a consultation with one of our expert MRD Radiologist.
- You will receive a copy of your study on CD-Rom to take home with you.
- A written report will then be forwarded to you & your doctor.
